That's so horrible. Now I'm making lists in my head - mostly we just eat fruits and vegetables and beans, but now I have to remember to buy the beans in bulk from big canvas bags or something, and not buy juice that comes in plastic bottles, and how will I retain all this knowledge about the different types of plastic this whole time until I have kids?
I recommend you read the novel Zodiac by Neal Stephenson. It's a eco-thriller that deals with polution in Boston. You're probably already familiar with most of the ecological problems discussed but the story is a lot of fun as well.
