Is not news I wanted to hear.

4 more weeks in the brace-from-hell.

Then we'll talk surgery, which is 6 or so weeks recovery after that.

There goes my summer.

I'm looking into wheelchair hire. At least then I can get pushed around the shops or around a lake or park and not go completely insane.

I still can't cook up a storm in the kitchen though, and I'm sick of eating crap.

I am so so sorry to hear it, and will defo keep you in my thoughts *hugs* especially for the surgery.

At least its getting seen to, it sounds like your knee just finally gave up on anything approaching 'security.'

Do you know what sort of surgery they're doing?

There are various things that can be done, which will be discussed in more detail at my next appointment (in a month). I imagine something involving tightening the tendon over the kneecap and the inner muscle so my kneecap is held in a more central position and not so loose.
