What kind of penguin is the main character in Happy Feet? I can't figure it out.

He's a juvenile Emperor Penguin. Hope that helps.

He's an Emperor Penguin but he never sheds his down, which looks a bit weird considering that every other penguin his age in the film does. Kept him looking distinctive though, I s'pose.
