What is this? Snake day?

I refuse to make jokes about some recent movie/internet phenomenon. :p

This morning some guy comes in with a dead snake wanting it ID'd. I'm the only fauna person around right now so I get the pleasure of seeing (and smelling) the fragrant snake. We come to the conclusion that it's probably a mulga snake, but it could be a dugite or gwardar. It was a lovely nondescript brown. Reminded me of Kenneth. :)

Then some woman rings up concerned about a tiger snake in her backyard. There currently is no-one here trained to remove snakes so I all I can do is leave her a message to just keep out of its way and it should return the favour.

Mayhaps I should do a snake handling course. That would be coooool.

Do it... on a plane.

yay for snakes!

the downside of a snake handling course would be the requirement to do more than tell people that staying out of a snakes way is probably the best course of action and have to go there and physically go against your advise and get in the snakes way.

I want to relocate humans that complain about the snakes :)
