I said I'd frame it...
But seeing as I don't have a frame a small ziploc bag will have to do.
I got my first tick! I would have acquired it sometime this morning but had no idea it was there until I just had a shower. It was on my left hip. I can't even find the mark. I just pulled it out with my fingers and the whole bug came out. He's actually still alive!
I was starting to think I was immune to ticks, seeing how many times I've put myself in places where I should have got ticks but didn't. Seems I was just lucky.
Weird, I was at least expecting to be able to feel it. I've had various usual itches all day and none of them caused by this little blighter.
I feel fully initiated into bush-bashing now.

I was in the shower and was just, "WTF, is that a tick?!" I just gently pulled on it and it gave a little resistance then came out. I checked the head was there then put it on the basin for later 'storage'.
Tiny little thing, obviously hadn't managed to drink much blood. I imagine it was a common roo tick. I've seen massive ticks in the ears of bobtail skinks, poor things.
