"Kim really enjoys hanging out with all the effluents"
How spoiled am I? (as
softpaw mentioned - this seems to be written by a 16/17 year old who feels the world owes them everything). Apparently if you have over 40 you are spoiled. I think many of us will turn out damn underpriveliged.
Do you have:
(1) your own cell phone
(2) a television in your bedroom - but I hardly watch it
( ) an MP3 player - does my computer count
( ) a photo printer - Will do in a few weeks, it's on the agenda as next big purchase.
( ) your own phone line - Uhh, I live in my own place. N/A
( ) TiVo or a generic digital video recorder
(3) high-speed internet access
( ) a surround sound system in bedroom
( ) DVD player in bedroom - Until a few days ago I did, it's now in the lounge room.
( ) at least a hundred DVDs
(4) a childfree bathroom - kinda easy with no children
(5) your own in-house office - I'm counting the computer room as one
( ) a pool
( ) a guest house
(6) a game room - At the moment it's a vague storeroom though.
( ) a queen-size bed or larger
(6.5) a stocked bar - Plenty of glasses. Not so much alcohol.
( ) a working dishwasher - If the agent gets around to getting it fixed we will.
( ) an icemaker - Yeah, it's called a freezer
(7) a working washer and dryer - No dryer, unless you count the hills hoist.
( ) more than 20 pairs of shoes - honestly, I may do. But that includes thongs, ugg boots, mud boots, work boots, a few pairs of dress shoes, Doc Martens etc.
( ) at least ten things from a designer store - fuck no. Those places scare me. I don't dare set foot in them. Why pay $600 for something you can get for $20 from Target?
( ) expensive sunglasses
( ) framed original art (not lithographs or prints) - Hah, it's my own! Well kinda. The longstitch people designed it and I made it.
(8) Egyptian cotton sheets or towels - Matt got me some towels for Christmas. Niicce. :)
(9) a multi-speed bike - It's never ridden, rusty and out-of-commision though.
(10) a gym membership - I have the leftovers of one. Which I can't use because I now live too far from the gym.
( ) large exercise equipment at home - Also on the shopping list. Actually, does the mini-trampoline count?
( ) your own set of golf clubs - Matt has a set, rusty, cobwebbed, unused because he can't afford a club membership.
( ) a pool table
( ) a tennis court
(11) local access to a lake, large pond, or the sea
( ) your own pair of skis - This is Western Australia, what the heck do I need skis for?
(12) enough camping gear for a weekend trip in an isolated area
( ) a boat
( ) a jet ski
( ) a neighborhood committee membership
( ) a beach house or a vacation house/cabin
( ) wealthy family members
(13) two or more family cars
(14) a walk-in closet or pantry - I assume the walk-in-robe counts.
(15) a yard
( ) a hammock
( ) a personal trainer
(16) good credit - Because I have NO credit. :p
( ) expensive jewelry
( ) a designer bag that required being on a waiting list to get - I just don't understand people who need this shit. My handbag at the moment is a Nam war era webbing bag. I used it in Broome and liked it so much I kept it and abandoned my nice, black girly bag.
(17) at least $100 cash in your possession right now - In the piggy bank.
( ) more than two credit cards bearing your name (not counting gas cards or debit cards) - Don't WANT credit cards.
( ) a stock portfolio
( ) a passport
( ) a horse - Do all the ponies count? Heck, they were a suitable alternative when I was 7, hence the huge collection.
( ) a trust fund (either for you or created by you)
(18) private medical insurance
(18.5) a college degree, and no outstanding student loans - Degree yes. No debts - no.
Do you:
( ) shop for non-needed items for yourself (like clothes, jewelry, electronics) at least once a week
( ) do your regular grocery shopping at high-end or specialty stores
( ) pay someone else to clean your house, do dishes, or launder your clothes (not counting dry-cleaning)
( ) go on weekend mini-vacations
( ) send dinners back with every flaw
(19) wear perfume or cologne (not body spray) - Not every day, but sometimes.
( ) regularly get your hair styled or nails done in a salon

( ) stay at home with little financial sacrifice
( ) pay someone else to cook your meals
( ) pay someone else to watch your children or walk your dogs
( ) regularly pay someone else to drive you taxis
( ) expect a gift after you fight with your partner
Are you:
( ) an only child
( ) married/partnered to a wealthy person
( ) baffled/surprised when you don't get your way
Have you:
( ) been on a cruise
( ) traveled out of the country
( ) met a celebrity
( ) been to the Caribbean
( ) been to Europe
( ) been to Hawaii
( ) been to New York
( ) eaten at the space needle in Seattle
( ) been to the Mall of America
( ) been on the Eiffel tower in Paris
( ) been on the Statue of Liberty in New York
(20) moved more than three times because you wanted to
( ) dined with local political figures
( ) been to both the Atlantic coast and the Pacific coast
NOTE - 90% of the last lot is N/A because I do not live in the U.S.A.
Did you:
( ) go to another country for your honeymoon - N/A

Consoles - none. I'd love an old skool Sega Megadrive and I'll probably end up with a Playstation to play Singstar and DDR, and Matt wants one (he actually really wants an X-Box).
Kitchen appliances. I am a fiend for kitchen shit.
