2 positions for warden at Broome Bird Observatory for almost a year contract next year. This is the job I have been constantly musing would be awesome to have, then I discover they're available!!

Also, that variegated plant in our front garden that I've always disliked (I'm not big on variegated plants) seems to be a callistemon. At the moment it has one flower but I can see loads of other buds. It's gonna be speccy in full bloom. :)

a variegated callistemon? mmkay....I dont know if i've seen one..

I generally dont like them either (they are commonly called bottlebrush)...and my mom is allergic to them.....

bottlebrush looks cool, but the leaves are pointy and the needles get *everywhere* come the end of Summer. (Mum's driveway becomes red carpet...)
