Mt. St. Helens stirs once more

Earth tremors are being recorded with increasing frequency and intensity.

Ooooh. It won't be as big as 1980 but I'm sure it will still be a decent boom. I'll certainly be watching.

I just read that. So long as it's not Rainer. LOL that's closer to my backyard.

Yeah, I'd like to visit Seattle before Ranier goes boom. And when Ranier goes boom she'll go BOOOM!!!!!

Wow, that's exciting/scary.

Rainier has been rumoured to erupt any day now... that's been going on for a good 10+ years now. I remember when St. Helens erupted... that was something to shake a stick at.. or while running away. lol

Eeek! I'm so glad I live in Michigan. Hurricanes down to the south, earthquakes and volcanos to the west. Nothing too severe ever happens here, aside from once in a while flooding.

Yeah, but it SNOWS here! *takes it as a personal offence that it dare snow on her lawn* And we do sometimes get tornadoes. :/

What is up with the world lately? Hurricanes galore, volcanos blowing up, tsk tsk.

Ah, snow. I lived in Marquette for a year, so I know snow. The first dozen inches are fun, but then... bleah!

Yes, the first bit is ok, but then it gets all slushy and icy and nasty. *makes a face* Gotta love lake effect.

It's the Earth saying it's had enough of humans.

Holy fuck I hope not! Last time Helens blew (before I was born) our house apparently got covered with several inches of ash! Right up until we sold it a year ago, you could STILL whack our couch and watch volcanic dust fly up.

My house is like...an hour from the mountain. I really hope it doesn't erupt again. And right now I'm really close to Rainier...neither one had better go boom!!!!
