I'm on a cooking spree again.

I was going to birdwatch, but apparently Matt will ring sometime this arvo so I'm staying home and cooking instead.

Another loaf of soy-lin bread.
A batch of apple & cinnamon muffins.
Potato & leek soup.
Possibly avacado salad.

And of course a smoothie.

It's simmering away at the moment. I put the potato and the stock in and... yep, that smell is just perfect.

The bizarre thing is, I hate onion, but I don't mind leek. Go figure.

Nope I can't stand leeks - I like the flavour of onion, and will eat them raw in salad, but not cooked. They just disintegrate into mush!

I always blend or sieve mine before I eat it to get the bits of leeks out
