I know this is kind of late but ever since you wrote this entry i've been kicking myself because i -know- the song your talking about and i have seen ads for the song and the guy who sings it album yet i don't know the name of the song. It's been driving me insane :P Anywho. If you don't know already i think the guys name is John Mayer and Ric says he -thinks- the word 'softly' is in the title of the song. I don't know if that helps but maybe :P
