My T.V. doesn't crash when I mute it...

Fuck I hate that.

I come home, I'm offline. I check the puter, nothing seems to have crashed. No worries then, I won't reboot, I'll just go back online.

I do so, check e-mails and stuff. Click the IE icon. And explorer decides to crash before it's even open. To the extent that the whole computer hangs and I HAVE to reboot, thus wasting another 25c on a connection (it may not sound like much but trust me, it builds up).

I hate this fucking computer.

One day computers will diversify into different (and separate) tools entirely and there will be much less crashing due to function-specific hardware and software being designed for each other by the same companies. It's already beginning to happen now, thank goodness... won't be fully realised for at least 25 years, probably though :/

In the book on evolution I read it had about a computer program that evolved new programs. They create an enviornment the requires the evolution of say a spreadsheet and let it evolve in there. Due to it being evolved and not written it should have less bugs. What I want to know is how do they know what environment is needed in the first place and how the heck do they create it!?
