Meanwhile on the other side of the country: a max temp of 26 and showers every day for the next 7 days. I love uber hot weather. Wanna swap?

I love summer and warm weather. I hate being cold.

But a whole week over 38, with some 26 degree nights? Even I have trouble coping with that.

I hate to say it but I hope that cyclone does form up north, then we might get some relief.

Fuck that's hot. I'd rather stick with the +4C and rain that we're getting today, thanks :)

Yeah, you beat us. It's been 35+ for the past week(ish) in Adelaide, minimum of 20 or so. Today is very exciting, it'll only be 34! *sigh*

Eat an iceblock. It cures everything.

Alot of people use a hot-water bottle in winter (I don't bother, I just put an extra blanket on the bed). In summer I often go to sleep hugging a freezer pack.

This week however, it's sleeping on the recliner in the loungeroom, which is the only air-conditioned room.
