Is that alright? I drove all night...
Gah, I have just wasted a few hours and quite a bit of petrol.
Drove down to uni to get my books for Animal Behaviour, the bookshop decided to close at midday today, I got there a bit before 1. *screams*, don't these people realise that there are poor sods like me that have to drive for an hour to get there and getting there to find it closed when it SHOULD be open is REALLY annoying!!
I then went to Bullcreek shopping centre and deposited my paycheck (which finally arrived!) and cashed my money order and found a Christmas pressie for Matt :) and bought Whispers from the second hand bookstore. They also had Chase, the other Koontz book I need to have read them all, but both were $10.50, which is okay for Whispers but Chase is less than half the length and I didn't fancy paying the same price for it, it'll show up again. And I'm sure I'm getting the latest Koontz for Christmas so I don't need it now anyway. Also looked in the pet shop, the kittens were 7 weeks *growls*, they shouldn't be removed from the mother until they are 8 weeks! Dumb petshop.
Then I popped over to visit Jared, who got the surprise of his life with me turning up on the doorstep. Wendy hadn't arrived yet and after Jared SMSd her we discovered that she'd SMSd me to say she couldn't make it but me be my usual phone hating self had my mobile off and didn't get the message, darnit. Oh well, Darkie was being smoochie and Malkie, Gweenie and Itty were a bit, so that was cool.
And if mum isn't home too late she's gonna take me shopping for a pair of nice shoes to wear out, which will be good. I hope I can find a pair thats a) pretty b) comfortable and c) affordable. I'm a bitch to buy shoes for, I hate how womens shoes are designed for triangular feet with the big toe in the middle, not regular human feet.
A vacancy has appeared at Matt's place. Hrm. It would certainly be great for me to move out but recently I've been thinking about all the niceties of home. Air con, spa, Phantom, all my stuff, room to move. *sigh* If I'm gonna move out I need a decent amount of capital for a computer and basic furniture, and I don't know where I can get that from.
