DVD woes

Matt tells me this is a problem. I'm starting to think it's not the TVs that we get are incompatible with the DVD player, he just has a weird DVD player that's incompatible with the TVs we get.

BTW - this is the whole setup. Just need to get some DVD storage now. The collection is growing fast.

have you got one of those cables for connecting VCRs to TV? (plug at both ends same as aerial plug) because if you do, and the DVD has an aerial plug (I think they still should, but I can't swear to it) it may work to connect them that way.

we have 2 of them, however they're joined together because they're both too short to reach from the wall plug to the telly aerial port.

I don't believe the dvd player has the old type of plug on the back of it either, which is why it wasn't on the old telly (and was on the small one in the bedroom)

tomorrow i'll be heading to dick smiths or similar and hunting an adapter
